About Keith
Keith lives in the Portland metro area with his family. He prefers jeans over suits. Keith gets outdoors as much as possible to run, hike and fish. His favorite activity is spending time with his kids. Growing up in a military family, Keith spent much of his youth in South Carolina and England where his father was stationed while serving in the U.S. Air Force. As a young kid, he grew up fishing and playing sports when he wasn’t cutting grass or delivering newspapers to earn spending-money. Keith always had a job growing up. This included working at an airport fire department, an animal hospital, a car wash, and bagging groceries. He understands the value of hard work and working people. Keith believes it is a privilege to serve his clients and their families. He feels extremely fortunate to call Oregon home.
Keith has been elected to the Board of Governors of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the House of Delegates of the Oregon State Bar Association. He has been a speaker and author on various legal education topics for the Oregon State Bar and the Oregon Law Institute. Keith received his law degree from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Clemson University where he was awarded a Scarborough Fellowship for academic achievement.
Keith has been elected to The American Board of Trial Advocates and the Oregon chapter of ABOTA, an invitation-only organization dedicated to ethical advocacy and the preservation of the American jury system.
In the last 20 years I have helped obtain over $86 million in verdicts and settlements for injury victims.

Keith is an “AV” rated attorney in Martidale-Hubbell’s national directory of lawyers. This is the highest possible rating for ethical conduct and legal skills. This rating is assigned based on anonymous evaluations by other lawyers in Oregon who have either worked with Keith as co-counsel or as opposing counsel.
Best Lawyers in America lists Keith in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury law. Lawyers must first be nominated for this honor by a former client, a judge or a fellow attorney in Oregon. Candidates are then evaluated by anonymous peer review by others already selected to Best Lawyers before being chosen to appear in the Best Lawyers in America publication.

The independent lawyer rating service Avvo.com has given Keith the highest possible score of “10.0 Superb” and Keith has also been selected for membership in The National Trial Lawyers’ “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” every year since 2013.

Every year since 2008, his peers have selected Keith for recognition in Oregon Super Lawyers, a publication distributed by the Oregonian newspaper and Portland Monthly magazine. To be included in this publication, one must be nominated and anonymously evaluated by fellow Oregon lawyers. No more than 5% of all Oregon attorneys are chosen to be listed in Super Lawyers. Keith has been rated among the Top 50 lawyers in the State by Super Lawyers.

Founded in 2001, the Injury Board (IB) is a membership organization comprised of leading trial attorneys throughout the United States and the United Kingdom.
IB members devote valuable time to preserving the civil justice system. In fact, more than 90% of members currently hold or have held leadership positions at a local and/or state trial lawyer association, or served as president of the American Association for Justice — trial lawyers’ national lobbying organization.
Not coincidentally, IB members are also leaders in their local communities, working with countless charities and supporting causes ranging from veterans’ affairs and children’s issues to pro bono work for the disadvantaged.
